Job Title: Antenna engineer

Key Responsibilities​

  •  In assigned projects be the interface of Antenna Engineering to enable delivery of all project phases and ensure Time to Market is as per company strategic objectives
  • Provide Antenna RF product design through simulation and laboratory work, with verification and implementation on key projects for new and re-engineering of Kaelus Group products

What you will be doing:

  • Creation and management of antenna RF design, 3D models and PCB drawings using for example HFSS and Matlab
  • Laboratory work including tuning and testing
  • Plan and execute RF testing
  • Support for design reviews
  • Support procurement and management of design samples
  • Support prototype building / assembly
  • Support for qualification of new suppliers Improving design and qualification procedures and formalising methods
  • Investigation of new suppliers for existing and new technologies for cost reduction
  • Investigation of new materials and processes
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager/Project Manager on daily and weekly objectives
  • Providing support for Quality activities in response to customer inputs and internal audits and CARs.
  • Any other ad hoc duties requested by Engineering

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Master of Science degree in electrical engineering and 2+ years working experience with antenna design or equivalent
  • Working knowledge in designing dual polarized antenna elements including feed structures and phase shifter in the 500-6000MHz frequency range
  • Experience from working with 3D simulations software, preferably HFSS
  • Experience from working with network analyser
  • Experience with hand soldering is meriting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
